He’d been further stunned to find his mate human. He didn’t mind. She was a dark beauty, tall and curvy. But as alpha, his pack came first; and though they were fully integrated into the human world, some still clung to the old ways.
Putting plan B into action, his muscles bunched, bones crunched, and hair covered his body in the seconds it took for the change to take place. Instinct had his wolf wanting to rush to her side, vehicle or not, and make her stop.
